Improves stress resilience: The reaction of the body to stressful stimuli is regulated mostly by the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Hypothalamus can be considered a mediator between the nervous system and the endocrine system. Based on the signals that come from the brain, it is able to activate the flow of specific hormones.
