L-DOPA + EGCG formula properties

Dopamine is one of the key neurotransmitters that are particularly important for the central nervous system. Actually, the proper amount of this compound is necessary for the whole body. Dopamine has various functions but in the brain it is mainly responsible for regulating the level of energy and motivation as well as for cognitive functions, especially working memory, concentration or analytical thinking. The molecules of this neurotransmitter do not cross the blood-brain barrier efficiently and therefore must be produced separately in the nervous system. There are also many other benefits that this EGCG provides, including the regulation of cholesterol level. And because it is a strong antioxidant, it protects the nervous system as well as other tissues from the harmful effects of free radicals.

Combined, both these components improve general mood by increasing the activity of dopamine which stimulates the brain reward system thus providing more satisfaction with different activities. In addition to that, L-DOPA + EGCG contributes to lowering the level of cortisol. Therefore, it helps to reduce the intensity of stress reactions. However, the most important benefit of this synergistic combination is undoubtedly the improvement of concentration and the increase of energy level. L-DOPA supports the production of adrenaline and noradrenaline – two neurotransmitters that mobilize the body to act. This is therefore an effective combination of direct dopamine precursor with a flavonoid that increases bioavailability and efficiency of this neurotransmitter.
