Strengthens immunity: Eleuthero, as well as andrographis, supports the optimal functioning of the immune system. Extracts of these two plants stimulate the secretion of antibodies and increase the activity of macrophages. What is more, they have antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties – for instance, they are able to limit the spread of cold, flu, or herpes viruses. On top of these effects, andrographis can also combat bacteria,  such as spirochetes that cause borreliosis, whereas eleuthero downregulates the secretion of histamine, and thus – decreases the intensity of allergic reactions.

Cleanses organism from toxins: Andrographis supports the functioning of the liver. The active compounds found in this herb stimulate the enzymes of the liver, especially CYP1A and CYP2B, which metabolize toxic compounds such as carbon tetrachloride or galactosamine. Eleuthero, on the other hand, helps to reduce the harmful effects of ethyl alcohol by activating alcohol decarboxylase and aldehyde dehydrogenase involved in ethanol processing. Additionally, it prevents the accumulation of lipids within the liver and other internal organs.

Improves physical performance: Eleuthero has an antioxidant effect on skeletal muscle cells, protects muscles from damage and reduces the feeling of fatigue after physical effort. These properties have been confirmed in the course of clinical trials. In one of these tests, the volunteers who supplemented the extract of eleuthero for a couple of weeks have observed a 25% increase of stamina (compared to those who took placebo). Besides that, scientists have noted an improvement of the functioning of the heart and a normalization of the free fatty acids level in blood.
